About Over Home Farm
Our Story
Over Home Farm is located in central KY in Edmonson County, home of Mammoth Cave National Park, in the small community of Sunfish near the city of Brownsville. This farm has been in my family since the early 1930's. My mom and her 11 siblings were all born and raised here. Growing up, my aunts and uncles would say let's go over home in reference to my grandparents house. So, when we were given the opportunity in 2005 to purchase the farm, we proudly named the farm.
Over Home Farm
Peacocks
We have a diverse variety of peacocks starting with solid White, Buford Bronze, and India Blue including Pied and Black Shoulder. Spring starts the mating season with eggs going into the incubator as early as late May or early June. Hatchlings ready as ten day old chicks. Stay on the look out as summer gets into full swing for Pea Chicks availability.
Nigerian Dwarf Goats
Our Nigerians are tested in the spring of each year for CAE and Johnes. The herd is negative for both. All of our Nigerians are blue eyed and either polled or dis-budded.
Zebu Cattle
Zebus are the true miniature cattle with their origins coming from India. Meet Susie, Lindy, and Lilly...Butter looking on from the back.
Stormy
Stormy loves riding the kids around the farm weather it is with the cart or saddle.
